Just Updating You

This week we started two news things that will keep us busy for a little bit.  Lily started another season of Spring soccer.  I usually hate spring soccer because it's snowing and absolutely freezing at every single game and practice.  But, we've had such a mild Spring that it hasn't been too bad so far!  She had her first game today and really loved it!  I think she mostly loves the treat afterwards and that we are all there cheering for her, but at least she's having fun.  She's playing with a team of older girls this season and maybe that will push her a little.  I made the mistake of buying shorts for her and not really trying them on her and then letting her wear them in her game.  She played the whole game with one hand on the waist band of her shorts!  They kept slipping off her skinny little bum.  But, she insisted that they were fine.  HA HA HA HA!  Fun girl.

Audrey has played a few seasons of soccer in the past.  But after Kaleb took the two older girls to a recent Utah State gymnastics meet she has been asking to take gymnastics classes.  So we did that this Spring instead of soccer.  I haven't been able to watch a ton of her in class because Emily thinks that all the cool gymnastics equipment is there for HER to play on.  So I chase her and she screams, then we go outside and walk around or we sit in the car for the rest of class.  Stinker.  But, I do know that Audrey is so happy and chatty after her class!  She is just thrilled that she is doing something new.  It's so fun to listen to her talk about what she did in class.  I think doing something new and different gives her confidence.  I love it!
